Jackets, scarves, and umbrellas are slowly coming out in London. The leaves are also changing as Autumn has arrived and a new season for many has just begun or is about to begin in the next few days. Children have begun a new year of school and first year university students are descending upon London to start a new chapter in their lives.

This week Imperial London College (Recently named as the 2nd Top University in the World) will have thousands of new students arriving on campus. Our church has a society on this campus so we will be on a mission this week to not only welcome new Christian Students but to also share the Gospel with as many people as possible. Our church is passionate about campus ministry and we know that these young people will be tomorrow’s leaders so it is vital that we make as much of an impact on campus as we can. Please pray for us to have favour with the students and faculty as well as wisdom and grace in sharing the Gospel.

Our Connect Groups have also started up again after the summer break and this past month I have already had the pleasure of visiting four of them and I can’t tell you how excited they make me! The diversity in ages, nationalities and spiritual maturity is amazing! It’s so exciting to see that church is not just happening on Sunday and that people are being ‘church’ to and with each other.

Last Sunday was also a highlight for me. For the past few years I have been helping our Worship Leader - Dina – to raise up a Youth Band. This past Sunday they led Worship at our Slough Congregation and I must say – they went to another level! The drummer we have had over the past 2 years has gone on to University and keen to step in her place was a 10 year old boy called Matthew. With only 4 practices under his belt he played his heart out and the band led with such an anointing.

Please pray for me over this next month. I will be working with all age groups in many different areas such as Connect Groups, Bible School, Mentoring teens, Worship, and University Students. Thank you for ALL of your support. You have a part in everything that I do! You are touching people’s lives in London!

Lots of Love

Have you ever needed Grace? Or what if I ask the question – have you ever been caught doing something bad? Speeding, cheating on an exam, stealing something, lying, etc.? What if you were caught doing the thing you know you are doing wrong now?? You would need GRACE!

We all have needed Grace and we have a mighty Saviour who came and took upon our punishment so that we could experience it in abundance! He also demonstrated to us how we should give Grace.

This past month I preached Part 2 of our Encounter Series – The Adulteress: Radical Grace.

Next week I will be in Austria for an Inner Healing Seminar. We are seeing more and more broken people coming into our church and I am trusting as I am trained on this course that I will be able to minister more effectively to those coming through our churches.

Please continue praying for me. I’ve been so excited at the ministry opportunities God has been giving me but I do need your covering in prayer for health, strength, wisdom and provision.

Last week, I had the privilege of spending time with a couple and their children for a few days. This couple’s marriage 3 years ago was basically over but since then God has been at work and I can tell you that this past week I saw in person the Grace and restoration of Jesus in full operation.

You have a part in that! Thank you for loving me, believing in the call on my life and supporting me through prayer and finances!

Thank you so much for your prayers and support this past month! As I mentioned in my last letter, I was invited to preach at a local church around the corner from our own church. The name of the church is West London Family Church and the congregation , like ours is multicultural but predominantly African and West Indies. It was great preaching in such a different environment!

This month I would like to introduce you to Aoife, pronounced EE-FA. Hi readers! I’m from Dublin, Ireland and I’ve been working with Traci as a campus intern since January. What an adventure I’ve been on! I’ve had the privilege of mentoring some of the students in our church and watching them grow in

their relationship with God. It is a joy to see how some of those students are now mentoring their friends and peers.

As well as mentorship, we organise monthly student socials, from Karaoke nights to BBQs. I also reach out to un-churched students by setting up a coffee table on Sundays (we have our services on a medical campus). Through this we are slowly making connections with students on their way to study. Many of them have gone from trying to avoid eye-contact with me to thanking us for caring enough to provide them with coffee early on a Sunday morning!

I am learning so much during my time here. Traci is an amazing mentor- she has walked me through my first few months of full-time ministry and is always willing to share her wisdom, experience, and sense of humour! It is such a blessing to work alongside her and the team here to make disciples and make a difference here in the great city of London.

Thank you for praying for my holiday! I went away for a week with one of my housemates and her elderly parents. It was very slow paced and the scenery was beautiful! What’s also amazing is that the weather here in London has been wonderful and we are having an actual Summer! Being able to wear shorts, short sleeve shirts and flip flops is like being on an extra long holiday for me.

Lots of Love
