November 2024

Dear Family and Friends

October was a mission month for us here in London.  October is normally when all the universities are starting their new academic year, so we took advantage of this time and went with small teams to strike up conversations about friendship, community and church with students on many of the university campuses across London.

With London being a city where many international students come to study, it can be a very lonely time for students who are living away from family and friends for the first time.  But not just international students – this is true for those who also live in the UK.  We have seen a huge shift over the past few years in students being so open to talk about the need for friendship, community and faith.

There was a recent survey done on university campuses across the UK that showed that 76% of students who aren't Christians say that they would go to church if a friend invited them! 45% of non-Christians would like to hear the story of Jesus! This is a massive opportunity that we don’t want to miss!

This is not just something that we are seeing in the UK.  Just this week I have been hearing more and more stories about the response some of our campus ministries across Europe are having as a result of engaging students this year.  We are hearing stories of students coming to 3 or 4 campus/church events just after doing a week of outreach on the campus.  Some of them getting saved!  We really believe we are beginning to see revival across Europe.

If you don’t live in Europe, you might be asking why I am so excited about this?  Some of our campus ministries across Europe try to reach out to students each year on their universities and it’s been a celebration if they can reach 3 and have them stick and grow in a relationship with God – IT’S THAT HARD…BUT over the past 2 years we have started to see a shift and hearing stories of breakthrough and more and more students being reached and growing into true disciples who are passing it on to other students!  This past year was proof to us as we saw the biggest numbers of students at our ENC Europe Conference and our ENC Leaders’ Camp this year.

Please join me in praying for more fruit on our university campuses across Europe and praying for more people to answer the call to be campus missionaries in Europe.

Another exciting thing that I got to take part in this past month was our School of Prophecy.  Many of us from our Every Nation Churches across Europe gathered in Glasgow, Scotland for a week of in-depth instruction, impartation, and hands-on equipping in prophetic reception and ministry.  It was a powerful week and very encouraging.  With my role in Europe, I really wanted to grow more in the prophetic and this week did not disappoint.  Here is a picture of those of us who attended:

Finally, tomorrow I leave to fly to Tampere, Finland for our Evangelism Summit and mission.  This is a week where our evangelists across Europe come together for a time of being fuelled with faith, focus and fruitfulness for mobilising evangelism across our continent.  Now, I am not an evangelist, but we are all called to share the good news of Jesus with people!  I attend this Summit every year because as someone who is passionate about discipleship and leading and being a part of missions across Europe, being stretched in my skills in evangelism is vital.  This week also gives me the opportunity to build relationships with the evangelists across Europe who will most likely be joining me on mission at some point or another.

Whew!  I know this letter has been long this month, but I want to ask you for one final prayer.  Please pray for my health.  The weather has changed here in London and many people are fighting colds including myself.  Many of you know my breathing has been an issue in the past so I am trusting for healing and no complication whilst I am in Finland.

Thank you for EVERYTHING!

 Lots of love

Traci
