September is always an exciting month for us here at Every Nation London. Just like Autumn always comes at this time of the year, we also start a new season of our Connect Groups and The Follow Course. We start a new sermon series, students go back to school and some of our young people are heading off to University in other cities. On top of all of that, the venue we normally meet in has been going through renovations for the past month so we are also hoping to go back into an upgraded venue in the next few weeks!

Change is all around us! Now, if you are like me, you like routine and change isn’t always fun. God changes though, are always exciting. Knowing what changes need to be made or what routines need to be kept is key to living in the plans and purposes of God.

At this time of the year we like to take time to set ourselves apart to seek God through prayer and fasting. It’s an amazing way to make sure that your ears, eyes and heart are open to hearing God’s voice for what’s to come. It’s also a powerful time of getting together to pray with each other and to speak an overflow of life into what God has not only called us to do personally but as a church.

I know that many people have a special time of prayer and fasting at the beginning of each year but I want to encourage you that if you haven’t stopped in a while to ask and listen to God about His plans and purposes for you – take some time this month to say “Here I am Lord, your servant is listening” 1 Samuel 3:10

I keep this picture as my screen saver on my phone to remind me to stop and listen to God throughout my day. It takes me back to the day I took the picture in Austria where this scene just shouted the awesomeness of God! You couldn’t do anything but stand still and listen.

I will be teaching at our Follow One Course this month. The sessions will establish the vital and life-changing foundations for a relationship with God the Father, and the way home He has made in Jesus Christ. To move from lost to found; from sinner to son to heir! Prayers appreciated! I would also appreciate your prayers as I oversee our Connect Groups starting up next week.

Thank you so much for continuing to stand with and cover me in prayer regarding my finances, health, and ministry! You are a reaching the nations and every generation in London!

Love,

Traci

Are you still fighting?? Last month I started my letter with Psalm 18:39 says “ You armed me with strength for battle;…” I just haven’t been able to move from there. Since my last letter I have seen so many people facing physical, emotional and spiritual battles.

One of my friends has been fighting a battle for a few years now and she has been standing and standing and refusing to move. She is tired now and the reality is sometimes we get tired of fighting and standing. The fact is though, we are not made to fight and stand on our own but many of us do. Exodus 17 says: “10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. 11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 12 When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other—so that his hands remained steady till sunset. 13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.”

Moses’ part of fighting the battle was standing and raising his arms. He wasn’t going to move – he stood and stood but he grew tired. What I find amazing is that he didn’t go into battle alone. He took two people with him – Aaron and Hur - and when he grew tired – they lifted his arms and the battle was won. Maybe you have been battling for a while and you have grown tired and you realise that you haven’t taken anyone along with you to lift up your arms. Or maybe you see someone who has grown tired of fighting and they need some help in the battle. If you are fighting alone – stop! Do like my friend has done - Ask people to battle with you in prayer. Agreement in prayer is a powerful thing! If you see someone fighting alone – come along side of them and lift them up so that they too can see Victory!

I am doing well and have been busy with so many things. Here in our office and church venue we have been clearing out and preparing for new things ahead. It’s been physically tiring but exciting and exhilarating spiritually, knowing that as we do things in the physical – God is doing new things for the near future!

I’ve also been involved in helping a new course we have started called The Follow Course, mentoring students and adults, Youth Camp, Worship and helping with a new Youth Band in our Slough congregation!

Thank you so much for continuing to stand with me and cover me in prayer regarding my finances, health, and ministry! You are a HUGE blessing.

Love,

Traci

Dear Family and Friends

Psalm 18:39 says “ You armed me with strength for battle;…” This month I and many others here in our church have felt God calling us to fight. To fight for what God has given and promised us. There has seemed to be an increase of attack on many of us and I’m sure on you as well as you have been stepping into God’s plans for your life. The enemy is not happy and he will do everything he can to prevent us from stepping into God’s blessings for us. Ephesians 6 talks about putting on the full armour of God – not our armour – God’s! Let’s not accept sickness, lack of finances, family problems, etc. Let’s stand and say enough is enough! God has armed us with strength to battle and He has given us Victory! So let’s fight and see walls like those of Jericho come down as we step into His promises for us!

This past month we have been doing a series in our Sunday services called God Questions where we have been tackling questions that God asks in the Bible such as “Where are you?, Who can I send?, and What do you want me to do for you?” At the beginning of the series, we also asked people to write down questions they would like to ask God. A few weeks ago, we took on three of those questions in 10 min segments. One of the questions was, “My life is so busy, how am I supposed to find time to connect with God and if I do, how can I understand what I read when I read my Bible?” I was chosen to answer this question in 10 Minutes! Please have a listen HERE especially if this is a question you also need answered.

Could I also ask you to continue to stand in prayer with me on my financial support as well? I am praying for more people to join our team to help to pray for me and also to support me financially. Please also send me prayer requests so I can be praying for you as well!

Thank you so much for your love, prayers and support! I am so appreciative of your faithfulness!

Love,

Traci
